iTrainer Fitness is now live! Hit the top right link to download from your iPhone or on your computer from iTunes.
It’s so fresh to the App Store it doesn’t even come up when you search for it.
Download it and tell your friends before we start charging for it. Let us know how you go with it and please give some good reviews.

iTrainer Fitness is still in “pending contract” and nothing has really changed.
This makes it 2 months since submitting to Apple!! I’m not sure what’s taking so long on their side but hopefully it will be fixed soon.
I’ve now sent 23 emails and made 4 phone calls to try and see what’s happening and I either get no response or vague answers that don’t answer my questions.
I’ve had a chat to other developers and they’re in the same boat. This approval process seems random and it doesn’t look like Apple has any sort of real system behind it. I guess they broke new ground with the iPhone app store and just working the kinks out in the logistics of it.
So I guess for now we wait…

Yes, finally iTrainer Fitness has been approved by Apple’s App Store review team!!
But now the app is showing “Pending Contract”… It’s actually been like that for about 2 weeks now so I reckon it’ll get released any day now. Here’s a screenshot of iTunes connect - I reckon I refresh this page around 50 times a day for the past 2 weeks:

25th March!!! It’s been one and a half months of this. I was hoping for a early April release.
All the links are ready to go (but don’t work yet), so we’re just waiting on Apple. Not sure what they need to do to approve the contract… I didn’t need to sign anything - just web forms where you click through “I agree”.
Some people have said it takes around 2 weeks, so hopefully by the end of this week or the start of next week.

Yes, the app was rejected again…
We just needed to fix some really minor things in our user guide so apple can give us the go ahead.
So, we’ve submitted it a third time, last Thursday. So hopefully iTrainer Fitness will be in your hands by this Friday.
I’ll send out a big email as soon as it hits the app store.

We heard back from Apple and there were a few minor changes we needed to do.
These changes were really minor and were all quickly done and re-submitted to Apple last Friday… which means they should take another sevenish days to have a look again.
With all the possible Easter holidays we’re hoping for a Tuesday release, but I’ll shoot off an email to subscribers as soon as it hit the App store.
On a side note, we’ve already begun designing the next release, which should be a few weeks away and brings some pretty slick UI upgrades - but I’ll leave that to another upcoming post.

I just quickly put this video together… not bad for my first video ever:
http://iTrainerApp.com/HowTo.php
Yes, that’s a giant finger mouse pointer! pretty cool ey?
It was going to be a series of videos, but I thought I might just keep it simple to start with.
The video is a bit rough around the edges and I’ll do a more professional one in a couple of weeks. I just wanted to get something out to show new users how to quickly get started.
Let me know what you think, or what I need to add.

Just letting you know iTrainer Fitness has been submitted last week but we’re still waiting on Apple.
If iTrainer Fitness fell into the 98% that gets approved within 7 days… It should be released today. I’ve seen the Apple guys register on our system, so they have had a look at the app at least but still no news yet.
Fingers crossed they release it by the end of the week.
If you’ve registered (top right), I’ll send you out an email so you can download it for FREE in the first week.

Tracking fitness progress is about to change forever.
I set out building iTrainer back in July ‘08 with 1 goal – to create a easy method to track my workouts in the gym so I can maximize muscle growth and fat loss, and minimize training times.
Why iTrainer is so different to any other system is the way it uses iPhone’s innovative multitouch user interface - Never before could an interface like the be done for a fitness tracking application. Recording results for weight training, cardio sessions or even body measurements are just a flicks and a tap away.
For example when tracking your change in body weight, all you do is tap “body weight”, then flick up or down from your last body weight entry and hit save… There’s nothing simplier with that…
This also means that you’ll actually keep using it… which means you’ll get better results, quicker.
But don’t take my word for it… try it for youself for FREE. We’re releasing iTrainer end of March and for a limited time we’re giving away iTrainer free for our newsletter subscribers. Sign up now to our newsletter on the top right of this page to get notified of the release and get a FREE download link.
